Robert Nesta “Bob” Marley was born on February 6, 1945 and passed away on the 11 May, 1981, was famous for being a legendary Jamaican singer, songwriter and musician. Hi talent put him as the lead singer, songwriter and guitarist for the ska, rocksteady and reggae bands, The Wailers, from 1964–1974 and the renamed Bob Marley & The Wailers from 1974–1981. Bob Marley is still the most widely known and revered performer of reggae music, and he fully deserves his recognition for helping spread both Jamaican music and the Rastafari movement to a much greater audience.
