Friendship Quotes
It is when you are growing up that you realize friends are important relationship to have. Many of us at a young age create imaginary friends or quickly form budding friendships with our pets or cuddly toys. As you grow into your teens the need for friends becomes more important to help form personality and through this your relationship with them strengthens. As you grow into adulthood, it is still equally important for us to have friends. Spouses in later life are often our most intimate friends, but friends, often prove to be good allies and offer a true support network you can truly trust and rely on.
Love and Friendship
by Emily Jane Brontë
Love is like the wild rose-briar,
Friendship like the holly-tree –
The holly is dark when the rose-briar blooms
But which will bloom most contantly?
The wild-rose briar is sweet in the spring,
Its summer blossoms scent the air;
Yet wait till winter comes again
And who wil call the wild-briar fair?
Then scorn the silly rose-wreath now
And deck thee with the holly’s sheen,
That when December blights thy brow
He may still leave thy garland green.
